Persona Reflection

I started playing Persona 4 after watching Higurashi the anime. I actually started watching that because I played some of the visual novel for it. That old Japanese town aesthetic felt nostalgic to me for some reason. Concrete structures surrounded by plant life evoked a part of my past I feel but can't remember. That nostalgia followed me into Persona as I started playing.

I first remember being struck by the setting itself. A 2011 much like our own, but very different. It truly felt like being further in the past.

I ended up fascinated by the daily life system for time management.
