The camera fully orbits the envelope — free-look with WASD or by dragging the view, and scroll to zoom in or out, all independent of steering. Left alone, the burner settles toward a gentle sink — you have to keep working it to hold altitude. The envelope can only rest safely on water: come down slow and level over the sea to float; touching land, or hitting the water too hard, counts as a crash. The envelope also has a service ceiling of 2000 ft — burning harder past that won't take you any higher.
