In the age before the Sundering, the five kingdoms of Bergeron stood united under the Crown of Spades. When the last king fell during the Siege of the Gods, the land fractured into warring territories, each ruled by those who could hold power by blade or spell.

Kilgen Towne, once a humble waystation on the northern trade road, has grown into a refuge for adventurers, merchants, and outcasts. Nestled between the Thornglenn Forest and the ruins of Castle Ingersoll, it is the last safe haven before the cursed lands to the south.

Dark rumors stir beneath the old chapel — the dead do not rest easy in the Crypt of Shadows. The townsfolk whisper of a gathering evil, and the notice board grows heavy with pleas for aid. Will you answer the call?
